40 Projects, also known as the Baisley Park Houses, is a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) public housing development located in the South Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York City. It consists of 20 buildings, ranging in height from 3 to 14 stories. Construction was completed on October 31, 1951.
The development is bordered by Baisley Boulevard, Sutphin Boulevard, Foch Boulevard, and 155th Street. It provides affordable housing for low-income residents. Like many NYCHA developments, it has faced challenges related to maintenance, safety, and social services for its residents.
